This healing & drawing salve is made with Extra-Virgin olive Oil, Organic Comfrey Leaf and Plantain Leaves with Lavender, & Tea Tree Essential Oils & Vitamin E Oil.
Why are these ingredients good in our salve?
Comfrey – Has been around since ancient times and is well known for healing wounds, ulcers, insect bites, and other dermatological conditions. The healing properties of comfrey are:
- Moisturizes and soothes
- Reduces inflammation and helps keep skin healthy
- Provides needed nourishment to the skin in the form of vitamins and minerals
- Protects from bacteria and other microorganisms
- Promotes more rapid skin-cell growth, contributing to skin renewal
Plantain – Has many uses such as a tea, panacea, or salve. It can be found all over. You probably have some in your yard. Farmers call it broad leaf here and native Americans have been using it for centuries. If you have a scrap, animal bite, bug bite or swelling take a leaf, chew it and place on the injury. Plaintain’s healing properties are:
- Antibacterial,
- Antimicrobial
- Antioxidant
- Anti-inflammatory
Tea Tree Essential Oil – Tea tree, also known as melaleuca, is well-known for its powerful antiseptic properties and ability to treat wounds.
Lavender Essential Oil -Very well known for its antimicrobial properties, lavender has a rich history of being used to prevent various infections and combat bacterial/fungal disorders. In fact, almost 100 studies have been conducted show that lavender oil speeds the healing of burns, cuts, scrapes and wounds and a big part of this is because of it’s anti-microbial properties
Vitamin E – Is both a nutrient and antioxidant, and the oil in its purest form is extremely versatile. Known as tocopherol.

This Comfrey Salve is quickly healing a sore spot I had on my arm (from an infected bug bite). The ingredient list is amazingly short, yet it is such an effective product. The salve doesn’t sting when I put it on and you only need a dab. Even though the container is small I think it will last a long time. Please don’t stop making these great products ever!
